Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, NE seeks an Engineering and Technology Education Lead to collaborate with Design Studio staff and Capstone Project Sponsor technical contacts to define hardware, software, and data needs for capstone projects.

You will establish initial technical requirements, provide ongoing support, onboard annual capstone projects, serve as a technical advisor, procure and manage IT equipment, oversee SaaS usage and expenditures, and coordinate technical components

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related technical field and one year of IT services management experience
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage/prioritize tasks
• Evidence of excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to network and build relationships with community and institutional partners
• Familiar with modern software development tools and methodologies

Responsibilities

• Onboard annual capstone projects and serve as a technical advisor for student teams
• Procure and manage IT equipment inventory
• Manage SaaS usage and expenditures
• Coordinate technical components of Design Studio and Raikes School events
• Administer cloud-based services, source control systems, and collaboration platforms
• Serve as primary administrator of the Raikes School website and liaison with University ITS and AV teams
