Qualifications

• 3+ years of federal budget management and execution experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Experience analyzing financial data and supporting budget, invoice, reconciliation, or related activities.

Responsibilities

• Support federal budget management and execution for OIS/IRMD.
• Assist with budget preparation using accurate financial data.
• Track budget status, obligations, expenditures, and other financial information.
• Maintain financial records and documentation for budget reviews.
• Identify budget variances and funding issues needing follow-up.
• Provide timely financial information for planning and resource decisions.
• Assist with procurement requests and supporting financial documentation.
• Validate invoices and coordinate discrepancies.
• Support payment processing and reconciliations.
• Assist with contract closeout activities and related actions.
• Respond to routine financial inquiries with government stakeholders.
• Support recurring cost-status and burn-rate reporting using current data.
• Use Excel and other approved tools to organize and present financial information.
• Coordinate with managers to maintain accurate financial data.
