Job summary

KMRG, LLC is seeking a Federal Financial Analyst to support the United States Capitol Police (USCP), Office of Information Systems (OIS), Information Resources Management Division (IRMD). The role focuses on federal budget management, invoicing, procurement support, and financial data accuracy to enable informed decision-making.

The position requires at least 3 years in federal budget management, a finance-related bachelor's degree, and strong Excel and reporting skills.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of federal budget management and execution experience.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Experience analyzing financial data and supporting budget, invoice, reconciliation, or related financial-management activities.

Responsibilities

Support financial management and federal budget execution activities for OIS and IRMD.
Assist with budget preparation and formulation activities using accurate supporting financial data.
Track budget status, obligations, expenditures, and other financial information as assigned.
Maintain financial records and supporting documentation for recurring budget and management reviews.
Help identify budget variances, funding issues, and other financial discrepancies requiring follow-up.
Validate invoices for accuracy and coordinate follow-up on discrepancies or missing information.
Support payment processing and financial reconciliations in accordance with established procedures.
Assist with contract closeout activities and the reconciliation of remaining financial actions.
Respond to routine financial inquiries and coordinate with managers, program teams, and Government personnel.
