Call Your Mother Deli is seeking a Capital Purchasing and Logistics Manager to oversee sourcing, ordering, tracking, and delivery across multiple shop openings in the Washington, DC area. You’ll collaborate with Design, Construction, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, vendors, and GCs to optimize costs and timelines.

You’ll build vendor relationships, seek better pricing, and create scalable purchasing processes as we expand.

Competenze

• 3+ years experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing for restaurant, retail, construction, or location openings.
• Ability to compare bids, negotiate with vendors, and manage orders through delivery.
• Manage multiple projects and lead times while tracking costs, deadlines, and details.
• Use spreadsheets and purchasing trackers to give teams a clear view of orders, arrivals, and attention areas.

• Build a purchasing plan for each new shop using approved specs, budgets, schedules, and delivery dates.
• Source and purchase owner-provided equipment, furniture, lighting, signage, décor; verify quantities and pricing before PO issuance.
• Lead competitive bids and negotiate pricing, terms, and service expectations with Supply Chain.
• Maintain the purchasing schedule for active projects, tracking orders, costs, lead times, shipping, delivery, and installation.
• Coordinate deliveries with vendors, Construction, and GC based on site readiness; resolve damaged or missing items.
• Track commitments and costs against budgets, flag changes or risks to Construction and Finance.
