Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Consulting Manager for its Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice. The role focuses on construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments across the United States.

You will lead fieldwork, deliver client-ready reports, and advise on risk mitigation and lifecycle project support. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction or real estate advisory, advanced degrees, and professional certifications such as CPA/CIA/PMP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction management, real estate advisory, or capital projects consulting.
• Knowledge of construction phases from planning to closeout and real estate portfolio management.
• Ability to conduct contract compliance audits and real estate performance monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with client-facing reporting.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate process reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate leases, and capital project performance per terms and regulations.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews; prepare reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, and contractors to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support lifecycle stages from acquisition to disposition aligning with business objectives.
