Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Consulting Manager for our Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice to perform program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate assessments across the United States. You will lead fieldwork, prepare client reports, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address capital projects and portfolio management.

A strong background in construction and real estate, with CPA/CIA/CCA/CFE/PMP/PE preferred, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction management or real estate advisory.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, architecture, building science, construction management, accounting, or related field; CPA/CIA/CCA/CFE/PMP/PE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction phases: planning, pre-construction, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting, closeout; real estate portfolio management and lease administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate management reviews, controls, and compliance assessments to identify improvements.
• Assess contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency and efficiency in operations.
• Lead fieldwork including data collection, site visits, interviews, and documentation; prepare client reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle from acquisition to disposition; align with business objectives.
