Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Consulting Manager in the Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice to lead construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments across the United States.

You will collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients and contractors to deliver integrated solutions, advise on controls, and improve transparency and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction management, real estate advisory, or capital projects consulting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CIA/CCA/CFE/PMP/PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate reviews, controls, and compliance assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for adherence to terms and best practices.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork activities: data collection, site visits, interviews, and documentation; prepare client-ready reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project oversight, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle from acquisition to disposition.
