Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Construction and Real Estate Advisory Consulting Manager to perform program reviews, cost audits, and real estate assessments across the United States. The role requires strong collaboration with project managers, asset managers, and legal teams to deliver integrated solutions addressing construction and real estate challenges.

The candidate will lead fieldwork, coordinate data collection, site visits, and prepare client-ready reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction management, real estate advisory, or capital projects consulting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting or related field; professional certifications preferred.
• Knowledge in planning, pre-construction, contracting, scheduling, cost estimating, and project closeout for both construction and real estate contexts.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits, CAM reconciliations, and performance monitoring is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce organized reports and client-facing documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of construction and real estate management processes, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for compliance with terms and regulations.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews, and reporting for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, and contractors to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle from acquisition to disposition.
