Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Material Program Manager to own materials management across capital projects. You will lead the supply chain for complex programs, drive cost, schedule, and quality targets, and collaborate with IPTs to ensure affordability and program success.

Responsibilities include leading design-to-cost initiatives, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or related work experience.
• Experience working with technical requirements and SSOW.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital supply chain activities and advise leadership on material strategies and plans.
• Develop clear Statements of Work (SOWs) for equipment, tooling, or manufacturing systems with milestones.
• Track capital supply chain budgets and material forecasting.
• Organize and track project deliverables, KP milestones, and SDRL/CDRL.
• Coordinate and lead design reviews with internal teams and suppliers; PDR, CDR, FAT, SAT.
