Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an experienced project leader to drive large capital construction programs from planning through closeout. You will align execution with district goals, budgets, and schedules while supervising engineering, procurement, and construction activities for technical excellence.

You will oversee multiple projects, manage risks, sustain strong stakeholder relationships, and mentor project teams to deliver on schedule and within contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/engineering/architecture or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible PM experience on large capital construction projects.
• Experience as owner's representative on public sector projects.
• Proven track record from planning through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of controls, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contracts and risk.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with consultants and contractors.
• Excellent leadership, organization, communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of capital improvement projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop and implement execution strategies aligned with district goals and budgets.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities for technical excellence.
• Balance multiple projects while managing priorities and stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, cash flow, quality, procurement, and risk.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues impacting success.
• Review schedules, cost reports, forecasts, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with LAUSD standards, codes, and contract documents.
• Assemble, lead, and mentor project teams; assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Foster collaboration among internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact between LAUSD and project participants; provide updates.
• Lead meetings and drive timely decisions.
