Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Construction Management group in Los Angeles, CA. This leadership role oversees planning, execution, and delivery of complex capital improvement projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with district objectives.

The ideal candidate is an owner's representative with public sector or educational facilities construction experience, proven leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience overseeing large capital construction projects.
• Experience serving as an owner's representative on public sector, K-12, higher education, or institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and risk management.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams and managing consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of assigned capital improvement projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies that align with District goals, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities while ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead project meetings and facilitate timely decision-making among project participants.
