Job summary

Group14 Technologies is seeking a Senior Major Projects Manager to lead capital projects and coordinate across engineering, operations, and external partners. You will define scope, schedule and budget, allocate resources, and ensure on-budget delivery while managing risks and changes.

Travel to project sites will be required to support execution. Our Major Projects team drives strategic development from concept to completion, ensuring safety, compliance, and value delivery across global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with 3+ years in program or project management focusing on capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans for a capital project within the context of the overall capital program, including defining project scope, schedule and budget.
• Allocate and manage company resources.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses to keep projects within budget.
• Use Earned Value Management to forecast risks and manage change over the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with the Program Manager and stakeholders to share progress and resolve issues.
• Oversee execution of specific projects within the capital program.
• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities to ensure project success.
• Manage project changes and document approvals by all relevant parties.
• Report on project progress to management and stakeholders.
