Job summary

The City of New York seeks a qualified leader to join the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Operations, overseeing capital project delivery across City agencies and ensuring timely, cost-effective completion of infrastructure initiatives.

You will coordinate interagency planning, manage timelines, and translate complex policy into clear recommendations for senior leadership while guiding teams toward ambitious public works goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in capital project management and delivery for large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with interagency coordination and capital program administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the Deputy Mayor for Operations and capital project teams across City agencies.
• Support strategic planning and project execution for large-scale infrastructure across the five boroughs.
• Facilitate interagency coordination, set timelines, review capital improvement plans, and ensure standards compliance.
• Monitor best practices and provide policy and operational recommendations for high-profile capital projects.
• Coordinate Deputy Mayor briefings, prep materials, and calendaring as appropriate.
• Develop systems for City Hall coordination and coordinate across Deputy Mayor teams.
