Job summary

Chugach Electric Association seeks a Senior Manager, Project Delivery in Anchorage to oversee capital project execution, governance, and project controls. You will lead EPC coordination, budget oversight, and RFP/contract processes, ensuring projects meet reliability, safety and customer needs.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and at least five years of complex project management experience within the utility sector; Alaska PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively complex project/ construction management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Alaska PE license preferred; PM/CM certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of utility capital projects.
• Govern scope, schedule, cost, risk, safety, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure business cases link to system needs, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Establish disciplined project delivery processes from intake through closeout.
• Coordinate RFPs, contracts, procurement, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop project controls, cost estimates, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Oversee contract performance and vendor management.
• Ensure proper closeout, documentation, and turnover to Operations.
