Job summary

JoCo is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to oversee scheduling and planning for major capital projects in pipeline and facility construction. You will develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules using Primavera P6 while collaborating with project teams and contractors to meet milestones.

The role emphasizes WBS understanding, baseline management, and critical path analysis, with 3–5 years in project controls. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Business.
• 3–5 years of experience in project controls with emphasis on scheduling.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and scheduling methodologies.
• Strong understanding of WBS, baseline management, and critical path analysis.
• Experience scheduling large-scale capital projects, preferably pipeline or facility construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to support milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to establish baseline schedules and track progress.
• Analyze critical paths, assess scheduling risks, and propose corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Prepare and distribute scheduling reports, including milestone tracking and variance analyses.
• Monitor contractor scheduling activities to ensure alignment with project requirements and standards.
• Support planning efforts across permitting, land acquisition, surveying, and construction phases.
• Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes and improve project efficiency.
