Job summary

GE Gas Power is seeking a Lead Project Planner and Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for a large portfolio, ensuring on-time delivery in line with contracts and PMO standards. The role bridges engineering, procurement, and construction, integrating Primavera P6 scheduling with supply chain and concurrent engineering.

You will lead baseline development, manage re-baselining, perform critical path analysis, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in project planning & scheduling within complex EPC environments using Primavera P6.
• Experience developing baselines and conducting schedule control and integration with engineering and supply chain.
• Advanced certifications (PMP or PSP) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• ITO/OTR handover and schedule initiation; validate assumptions, risk registers, and milestones.
• Baseline feasibility and alignment with executable plan; identify gaps between sold and executable schedules.
• Lead Commitment Meetings with ENG, Sourcing, PM to align on baseline (P0).
• Develop Level 2/3 Integrated Schedules in Primavera P6 per GPSPE SCH 008.
• Update master schedule monthly; analyze progress, float consumption and Say/Do ratios.
• Perform deep critical path analysis; propose mitigation strategies to project leadership.
• Manage scheduling constraints (ALAP/ASAP) and re-baselining with minimal disruption.
• Coordinate multi-unit scheduling and PO dates; ensure data consistency.
• Maintain risk registers and run what-if scenarios for CP impact.
