Job summary

Primoris Energy Services in Independence, MO seeks a Lead Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for energy services projects. You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to gather input and track progress.

Responsibilities include critical path analysis, risk mitigation, progress reporting, and maintaining WBS/activities; you will mentor junior schedulers and ensure compliance with scheduling standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project controls scheduling within energy/oil & gas/heavy industrial construction.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of CPM, WBS, and earned value management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for energy service projects across all phases.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to gather input and ensure alignment.
• Perform critical path analysis, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress against baselines, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present schedule updates, reports, and forecasts to stakeholders and senior management.
• Mentor junior schedulers and ensure adherence to scheduling standards.
