Job summary

CiresiMorek is seeking a Project Manager to execute large-scale equipment and facility upgrades. You will lead internal and external teams to complete objectives on time and under budget, with a track record of impact and urgency. Bachelor's degree required; PE or PMP preferred; 5+ years managing capital projects.

You will review supplier proposals, ensure safety and quality, and champion a Safety First culture across all phases, including planning, design, and commissioning.

Qualifications

Job description

• Bachelor's degree required, Engineering discipline a plus
• 5+ years' experience managing capital projects
• Existing equipment upgrade or new equipment installation project experience
• Facility expansion experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional certifications

This position will be responsible for executing large-scale equipment and facility upgrades. These projects will include managing teams of internal and external personnel to ensure objectives are completed on time and under budget. The Project Manager will be an impact player with a proven track record of accomplishments, understanding the business implications of decisions, and the ability to work with urgency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage at a high proficiency level, including identification of the business case, initial planning, developing scope, determining benefits, and estimating costs
• Perform a complete technical review of equipment supplier proposals and recommend the purchase of equipment that is acceptable
• Empower teams with a managerial style that is collaborative, inclusive, and balanced in approach to achieve commitments
• Direct, review, and approve engineering designs, technical specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Partner with the site Manufacturing and Maintenance departments to ensure projects are completed to meet the highest standards of Safety and Quality without disrupting Production
• Champion a Safety First culture across all project phases, ensuring that safety considerations are embedded in planning, design, execution, and commissioning
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technology through plant visits, continuing education, seminars, and technical exchanges
