Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Capital Planning Manager to develop and own the capital maintenance plan across facilities, coordinating with building management, engineers, and analytics teams. The role emphasizes cost-effective operations and adherence to codes while overseeing preventative maintenance programs.

The manager will lead and train facility staff, manage budgets and forecast contracts, and report critical conditions to leadership.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required; degree in Business or Facilities Management preferred.
• 3–5 years in account management, facilities operations, analytics and planning.
• Strong familiarity with critical equipment and technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, IT and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and own the capital maintenance plan for facilities.
• Provide technical oversight for preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommendations and Cushman & Wakefield guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with codes, insurance certificates and client requirements.
• Manage the VFA system and integration of equipment in the system.
• Review life safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and elevator systems for operations.
