Job summary

EPCOR USA in Glendale, AZ is seeking a temporary Capital & Governance Accountant I to support capital project governance and reporting. This role partners with leaders to ensure compliance and effective project management across major initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing governance processes, training project managers, and consolidating capital inputs for budgeting and long-term planning. Strong US GAAP knowledge and Oracle ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with capital projects.
• US GAAP and SOX knowledge required.
• Excel and Oracle ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review Capital Governance & Reporting processes to ensure compliance.
• Provide governance training to Project Managers periodically.
• Monitor and report on capital project performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Develop capital project dashboards for management reporting.
• Lead consolidation of capital inputs for budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Coordinate with Capital Delivery Model and PM initiatives for reporting enhancements.
