Job summary

EPCOR is looking to bring on a temporary Capital & Governance Accountant I to our Glendale, Arizona team for 2027 with the possibility of going permanent. This highly visible role works with company leaders as the Capital Governance and Reporting Subject Matter Expert for major capital projects across EPCOR USA, shaping governance, reporting, and project management processes.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred; at least 2 years in capital projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or CMA preferred; US GAAP knowledge required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with capital projects and coordinating with engineering/operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation and review of Capital Governance & Reporting processes.
• Provide updated guidance and training to Project Managers on a periodic basis.
• Monitor, measure and report on financial performance metrics related to capital project delivery.
• Assist in development of a capital project dashboard for better reporting.
• Lead consolidation of capital inputs for budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
