Job summary

Tallgrass Energy Partners, LP is hiring a Project Accountant to manage the full lifecycle of capital project accounting in the Oracle Fusion PPM module. You will work with Project Controls, Engineering, Operations, and FP&A to ensure GAAP and FERC compliant reporting.

The role emphasizes project setup, cost tracking, accruals, and capital vs. operating expenditure classifications, with heavy emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) and 3–5 years in project accounting.
• Experience with capital project cost tracking, AFE management, and lifecycle accounting.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP, FERC regulations, and Oracle Fusion modules.

Responsibilities

• Assist monthly close of the Oracle Fusion PPM subledger and reconcile costs to GL.
• Prepare project-related journal entries with proper support and documentation.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards for capital projects and forecasts.
