Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Mankato, MN is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to lead capital projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure project success from scope to execution. You will plan, engineer and support manufacturing infrastructure, equipment and processes while maintaining safety and cost controls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in manufacturing engineering and hands-on experience with capital projects, CAD tools, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering and 3 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering or capital project management; or 7 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop work-scope specifications for capital projects and infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with Rolls-Royce teams to meet internal and external requirements.
• Identify suppliers and prepare requisition documentation.
• Manage projects to safety, cost, and on-time completion.
• Improve procedures and controls through planning and implementation.
• Provide feedback from team members.
• Prepare layouts of buildings, assembly areas, and equipment.
• Support manufacturing operations, facilities and maintenance staff.
• Design, test and cost-justify tools and equipment for manufacturing methods.
• Evaluate data and report deviations from standards.
• Promote safety and a compliance culture.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.
