Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Mankato, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead and support Capex projects on our campus. You will work with operations and facilities teams to plan, manage and deliver capital investments on time and on budget, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong project management, CAD and SAP experience, and the ability to read technical drawings. You’ll collaborate across functions to improve processes, define scopes, and cost-justify

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
3 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering or capital project management, or 7 years total experience.

Responsibilities

Develop work-scope specifications for capital projects and infrastructure changes.
Identify suppliers, prepare requisition documentation.
Ensure safety, cost control and on-time project completion.
Improve procedures and controls through planning and feedback.
Prepare layouts of buildings, assembly areas, and equipment.
Provide technical assistance to manufacturing, facilities, and maintenance.
Design, test, and cost-justify tools and equipment for manufacturing methods.
Evaluate data and report deviations from standards.
Promote compliance with Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
