Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Segment Project Procurement Specialist to support multiple North American plants within the Metal Castings division. You will drive procurement strategies, manage contracts, and lead CAPEX projects from proposal through execution, ensuring cost savings and supplier performance.

Based in the greater Muskegon, Michigan, or Northwest Indiana area, you will partner with Legal, Finance, and operations to align sourcing with business goals while maintaining compliance and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Procurement or Contract Development/Management within procurement is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Oracle or a similar enterprise business system.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position involves access to export-controlled items, and employment offers are conditioned on the applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Responsibilities

• Review plant requirements and statements of work (SOWs) to identify potential suppliers and contractors.
• Create, review, and negotiate service agreements and purchase orders to ensure all contract language accurately reflects scope, requirements, deliverables, performance metrics, pricing, schedule, and terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with company contract procedures before issuance.
• Monitor contract performance to ensure requirements are being met and provide risk mitigation actions as necessary.
• Lead capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including sourcing and procurement of capital equipment, machinery, and building materials, from proposal review through contract execution.
• Lead and support outsourcing and outplant work initiatives, cost reduction efforts, supplier growth strategies, and supplier onboarding.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project timelines, manage deliverables, and provide action plans to eliminate project delays.
