Job summary

Augmentis, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Segment Project Procurement Specialist to support multiple North American plants within the Metal Castings division. This highly-visible role focuses on procurement strategy, contract development, and cross-site collaboration, with base options in Muskegon, MI or NW Indiana.

The ideal candidate will drive cost savings, ensure supply security, and engage with Legal and Finance to uphold contract standards; travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Procurement or Contract Development/Management.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Oracle or a similar enterprise business system.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Contract Development and Management: review requirements, create and negotiate service agreements and purchase orders, ensure compliance, monitor performance and mitigate risk.
• Project Management: lead CAPEX projects, source equipment and materials, coordinate outsourcing and cost-reduction initiatives, manage timelines and deliverables.
• Process Control and Compliance: identify inefficiencies and implement cost-effective, compliant processes.
• Multi-Site Support: provide direct plant support, assist with RFQs, PO issuance, invoice reconciliation, and admin tasks as needed.
