Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Segment Project Procurement Specialist to support the Metal Castings division in North America. The role focuses on contract development, procurement strategy, and project management across multiple plants, with an emphasis on cost savings and risk mitigation.

The position reports to the Regional Procurement Lead and may be based in Michigan or northwest Indiana, with travel up to 25% and a strong focus on collaborative, cross-functional execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement or Contract Development/Management.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Oracle or a similar enterprise system.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Access to export-controlled items; eligible to obtain access.

Responsibilities

• Contract Development and Management: review requirements, create and negotiate service agreements and POs, ensure compliance with procedures, monitor performance.
• Project Management: lead CAPEX projects, outsourcing initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and coordinate timelines across stakeholders.
• Process Control and Compliance: identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to reduce waste and ensure compliance.
• Multi-Site Support: provide direct plant support, back-up execution tasks including RFQs, POs, and invoice reconciliation.
