Job summary

Augmentis seeks a Segment Project Procurement Specialist to support multiple manufacturing plants within the Metal Castings division. You will drive procurement strategy, contract development, and cost-saving initiatives while coordinating with Legal, Finance, and operations to meet business unit goals.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking beyond transactions, risk mitigation, and supplier management. Based in the Great Lakes region (Muskegon, MI or NW Indiana) with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Procurement or Contract Development/Management within procurement.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Oracle or a similar enterprise business system.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• This position involves access to export-controlled items; employment offers are conditioned on the ability to access such items.

Responsibilities

• Contract Development and Management: review plant requirements, create/ negotiate service agreements and purchase orders, ensure terms reflect scope and pricing, and monitor performance.
• Project Management: lead CAPEX projects, coordinate outsourcing/outplant work, and manage timelines with cross-functional teams to avoid delays.
• Process Control and Compliance: identify procurement inefficiencies, reduce waste, and maintain compliance with procedures.
• Multi-Site Support: provide plant-level support, assist with RFQs, PO issuance, and invoice reconciliation as needed.
