Young Life Cherry Creek is seeking a Capernaum Coordinator to revitalize ministry in changing environments and support inclusive ministry for teens with disabilities through Capernaum. • Must have completed Core Training —Phase One.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Proven relational skills with both kids with disabilities and adults.

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop yearly plans to foster spiritual growth and leadership.
• Build relationships and disciplines within the church community.
• Actively participate in the spiritual life of Young Life.
• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development with the Area Director.
• Ensure ministry is prayer-dependent and relationship-driven.
• Partner with the Area Director to cast vision for reaching kids.
• Develop subcommittees to represent needs and raise funds for disability ministry.
• Create leadership plans for volunteer leaders and subcommittees.
• Recruit and train leaders to build diverse leadership teams.
• Train leaders and drivers in care of kids with disabilities.
• Provide quality summer staff and volunteers for camps.
• Model excellence in contact work, clubs, and campaigns.
• Train teams to develop yearly ministry strategies with the Area Director.
• Provide leadership for donor relations and ministry fundraising.
