Job summary

Young Life is seeking a Regional Coordinator for Capernaum to develop new ministry within a Young Life region, train, support and encourage Capernaum staff, and drive growth by including people with disabilities in leadership and in new clubs.

The role emphasizes recruiting, staff development, fundraising, and collaboration with area and regional directors to launch and sustain inclusion ministries and outreach to students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Clear communication of the Gospel and calling teens and young adults with special needs to Christ must be demonstrated.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and volunteers in diverse settings.
• Experience in budgeting and coordinating regional ministries.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Capernaum ministry or have past experience as a Capernaum coordinator/director.
• Attend Capernaum clubs in the region periodically and participate in staff meetings.
• Build strategy for providing quality summer staff and/or work crew and volunteers.
• Plan and host training opportunities for Capernaum staff and Young Life area directors as needed.
