Job summary

PGT Services is recruiting a Capacity Solutions Representative to expand our trusted carrier network and ensure safe, reliable freight movement across North America. You will vet carriers for compliance and help scale capacity to meet customer needs

The role requires in-office presence with a focus on dispatch, coverage, and delivering excellent transportation service. A HS diploma or GED is required, with a Bachelor's preferred and experience in trucking/brokerage encouraged.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and a Bachelor's degree are preferred.
• Experience with truck dispatch or freight brokerage is preferred.
• Strong focus on customer service and results-driven performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new carrier relationships to expand our network.
• Research prospective carriers for compliance with FMCSA safety guidelines.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to generate load coverage leads.
• Schedule freight dispatch with approved carriers and ensure on-time pickup/delivery.
• Address issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

Job Description

PGT Services offers freight brokerage with integrity, expertise and precision, specializing in open deck, container drayage and transload, heavy haul and managed transportation. As part of the PGT Holdings enterprise, PGT Services has a flatbed first mentality, specializing in open deck freight transportation while providing full logistics service across North America.

As a Capacity Solutions Representative, you will contribute to our expansive network of trusted motor carriers, thoroughly vetting potential companies to ensure the safe and reliable movement of freight. This crucial role helps us scale our capacity to meet customer requirements and provide excellent transportation service.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new carrier relationships to expand our network
• Thoroughly research prospective carriers to ensure compliance with PGT and FMCSA safety guidelines
• Manage both inbound and outbound call volume to generate leads for load coverage
• Schedule freight dispatch with approved carriers and ensure on time pickup and delivery
• Quickly address potential issues and identify solutions to ensure customer satisfaction

Role Requirements

• HS diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
