You will plan, route, and monitor freight to ensure safe, on-time service while coordinating with maintenance and customers. The role requires flexibility across day, night, and weekend shifts. The position emphasizes KPI-based optimization, reporting, and collaboration across teams to maximize profitability and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2-3 years in transportation/logistics and ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• Strong professional communication skills applied internally and externally.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships.
• Experience in delivering customer-focused communications and feedback for improvement.
• Ability to process information with high accuracy and make informed decisions.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to travel to account and customer locations as needed.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with carriers and IC drivers to ensure smooth carrier setup and productivity.
• Optimize operations and profitability through KPI understanding.
• Create, maintain, and present customer-specific reporting and financial analysis.
• Manage inventory, assets, and carrier assignments to balance equipment in the market.
• Handle payroll, Net-Revenue budgeting, invoicing, and reporting.
• Coordinate yard duties and maintenance for account equipment, ensuring timely service.
• Act as liaison between carriers, customers, and company personnel to resolve issues.
• Maintain safety culture by complying with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assign loads and plan routes to meet on-time service and customer requirements.
• Assist in training entry-level and team members; participate in special projects to optimize operations.
