ModivCare in the Boston area is seeking a Cantonese or Mandarin speaking caregiver to provide meaningful, one-on-one in-home care for clients in Brighton, Belmont, Brookline, Malden, and Lexington.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Cantonese or Mandarin; bilingual preferred.
• Availability in Brighton, Boston area.
• Willingness to travel to clients' homes and reliable transportation.
• Experience in home health care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities and mobility as needed.
• Remind about medications and follow care plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming living space.
• Communicate concerns and report safety issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily carelike bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
• Most importantly:Be afriendly faceand a steady presence
