Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking a friendly Personal Care Specialist to engage customers in our Joppatowne dispensary. You’ll guide patients through product options, explain consumption methods, and ensure a safe, compliant shopping experience.

The role emphasizes customer service, flexibility to work mornings, days, nights and weekends, and adherence to cannabis regulations. Prior cannabis experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends) to meet business needs.
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver's license or state ID.
• Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in cannabis.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients/customers in a retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety.
• Recommend safe and effective regimens based on customer needs and stay updated on product knowledge.
• Support store operations to ensure smooth, compliant operations.
• Verify order deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness; assist in inventory tasks.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Perform front of house and back of house duties as assigned.
