GTI is seeking a Personal Care Specialist for our retail dispensary in Maryland. You will engage with customers, educate on cannabis products and consumption methods, and tailor recommendations to individual needs.

The role emphasizes maintaining a compliant, welcoming environment and supporting daily store operations. The position requires at least one year in customer service, flexibility across shifts, and DNA of professionalism with HIPAA considerations in a cannabis setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Flexible scheduling with varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable attendance; 21+ years; background checks including cannabis employment requirements.
• Must have valid driver’s license or state ID; compliant with cannabis regulations.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients/customers in a retail environment.
• Educate patients/customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety.
• Recommend safe, effective regimens based on needs and product knowledge.
• Keep a positive, patient-oriented store environment.
• Verify order deliveries for accuracy.
• Support management to ensure compliant daily operations.
• Maintain store presence and stock; uphold safety and privacy standards.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Complete duties at assigned workstations during shifts: front of house, back of house, maintenance.
