Green Thumb in Reno is seeking a friendly Personal Care Specialist to assist patients and customers in our dispensary environment. You will guide shoppers through product options, explain consumption methods, and ensure compliance with cannabis regulations while delivering exceptional service.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and the ability to handle varying shifts, maintain inventory, and operate the point-of-sale system to support smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass background checks.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must comply with cannabis industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients/customers in a customer-facing retail environment.
• Educate on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction.
• Recommend safe, effective regimens and stay up-to-date on GTI product knowledge.
• Promote a positive, patient/customer-oriented store culture.
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy.
• Support management in daily store operations and compliance.
• Ensure local/state cannabis regulations are enforced.
• Keep sales floor stocked and maintain store presence.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Complete duties at assigned workstations during shifts.
