Job summary

Green Thumb Industries in Massachusetts is seeking a Personal Care Specialist for our dispensary. You will engage with patients and customers, educate on products, and assist with orders and POS transactions to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and compliance with cannabis regulations. Prior cannabis experience is not required, and you will work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable, responsible attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment
• Educate on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction
• Recommend a safe and effective regimen based on individual needs with up-to-date product knowledge
• Promote a positive, patient/customer-oriented store culture
• Verify order deliveries for accuracy
• Support store operations to ensure compliance and smooth daily activities
• Ensure cannabis regulations are enforced and upheld
• Keep sales floor stocked and store appearance compliant
• Maintain hard copy files as required
• Follow security and safety procedures
• Handle responsibilities at front and back of house including POS, fulfillment, inventory, and maintenance
