Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor for a part-time role in Sharon, MA. You will greet customers, educate them on cannabis products, and help navigate product selection while ensuring accurate online order pickup and a clean, compliant storefront.

The role requires 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience, a high school diploma, and a commitment to learning about cannabinoids and state regulations. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment and support store management as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all regulations.
• Ability to learn cannabinoids, terpenes and product usage methods.
• Ability to use computers and basic software (Word, Excel, email).
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate for cannabis customer care and education.
• Assist customers in navigating products and determining suitable options (no medical advice).
• Build rapport to promote repeat business in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Work with team members and support store management as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and store front.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up and comply with inventory systems.
