Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to provide exceptional customer service, educate customers, and assist with patient records as needed.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail or hospitality, willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product usage, and ability to navigate regulatory compliance. Candidates must be 21+ and pass a background check to work in Verano stores.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience preferred.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment and basic software (Word, Excel, email).
• Understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers about cannabis products and usage as a wellness product.
• Assist customers in navigating products while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and assist with inventory as needed.
• Process transactions at POS and ensure proper stock updates in METRC/BioTrack.
