Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consulting in a retail setting.

The role involves assisting customers and patients, describing cannabis product options, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. The position requires 1-2 years of retail/hospitality experience, willingness to work full-time, and adherence to all laws and badging requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email, etc.).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage as a wellness option.
• Assist customers with navigating product types and methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace and storefront.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory accuracy in METRC/BioTrack as required.
