Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consulting in a retail setting. You will assist customers and patients, explain product options, and ensure accurate order processing while adhering to state cannabis regulations.

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience, a strong interest in cannabinoids, and the ability to use basic office software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care and educate on products.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products and educate on wellness applications.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment with others.
• Provide information on product types, methods and efficacy (not medical advice).
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays; follow compliance regulations.
