Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and educational consulting in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help customers understand product options, ensure compliant handling, and support patient records as needed.

Open availability for shifts (including opening/closing, weekends, and holidays) is required. The role involves stock, POS transactions, and adherence to state regulations while delivering a welcoming, informative experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids and product usage methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist customers and educate them on cannabis products and usage.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory updates in METRC or similar systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized store front and comply with safety regulations.
