Verano Holdings Corp. seeks a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, provide educational consulting, and assist with patient record management where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and education.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products and educate them on wellness uses.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well in a fast-paced retail environment with teammates.
• Provide information on product types, methods and efficacy (not medical advice).
• Stay open to ongoing cannabis education and training.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, sanitized workstation and storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
• Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations per local and state laws.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of inventory.
• Complete POS transactions and ensure METRC/BioTrack updates inventory levels.
