Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a friendly Personal Care Specialist to engage with patients and customers in our dispensary, guiding them to the right products and usage methods. You’ll educate on safety and consumption, and help maintain a welcoming, compliant retail environment.

The role emphasizes accurate order processing, teamwork with management, and staying up to date on cannabis regulations. You’ll work front-of-house and back-of-house tasks, including stocking, POS operations, and delivering

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (varied shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends)
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment
• Educate on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction
• Recommend safe and effective regimens based on knowledge of products and consumption methods
• Promote a positive, patient/customer-oriented work environment
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Support management to ensure store operations run smoothly and in compliance with rules and regulations
• Ensure cannabis regulations are enforced
• Maintain stocked and present sales floor and dispensary
• Maintain hard copy files as required
• Follow security measures and safety procedures
• Complete duties at assigned workstations during shifts: Front of House, Back of House, Maintenance
• Other duties as assigned
