Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Central Phoenix dispensaries seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, oversee daily operations, ensure state compliance, and lead a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

You will develop staff, manage inventory with accuracy, support promotions with procurement and marketing, and help create a welcoming, inclusive store culture. Must be 21+, pass background checks, and hold an ADHS Facility Agent Card.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leadership experience in retail or dispensary settings.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid ADHS Facility Agent Card.
• Proven ability to lead a team of 20+ staff members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passionate about cannabis education and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver top-notch customer experiences.
• Maintain compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services regulations.
• Conduct inventory audits and ensure accurate product scanning during transactions.
• Partner with the procurement and marketing teams to drive sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist with hiring, performance reviews, and team development.
