Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure state compliance, maintain inventory accuracy, and deliver exceptional service to cannabis customers.

You will develop and lead a team of 20+ staff, drive sales promotions with procurement and marketing, and help create a positive, inclusive store culture. Applicants must be 21+ with ADHS credentials and a background check.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in retail or dispensary settings.
• Must be 21+ and possess a valid ADHS Facility Agent Card.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 20+ staff.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passionate about cannabis education and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver top-notch customer experiences.
• Maintain compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services regulations.
• Conduct inventory audits and ensure accurate product scanning during transactions.
• Partner with procurement and marketing to drive sales promotions and initiatives.
• Address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
