Job summary

C3 Industries is seeking a Sales Associate at our Ann Arbor area dispensary to deliver world-class customer service and drive sales with product recommendations. You will guide customers through cannabis selections, verify IDs, and process orders with a strong emphasis on compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining stock, answering questions about products and regulations, and collaborating with management to boost store performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching Key Performance Indicators on a regular basis.
• Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional business-like demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to customers as the top priority.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and conversion rate goals defined by store leadership.
• Greet customers and verify IDs upon entry.
• Assist customers with questions on state required forms and update information in the system.
• Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and organized waiting area.
• Educate customers on cannabis products, effects, and proper selection.
• Process online orders quickly and accurately while prioritizing customer experience.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate as needed to management.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay current on cannabis trends.
• Accurately use and maintain the POS system for transactions and reports.
• Follow cash handling policies and complete daily cash reconciliation.
• Assist with product intake, inventory counts, and routine audits.
• Collaborate with management to increase sales and foot traffic.
• Ensure compliance with dispensary policies and state/local regulations.
