C3 Industries is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee store operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service at our Ann Arbor area location. You will guide customers through product selections, manage cash and POS tasks, and support daily store activities.

The role requires at least 3 years of customer service experience, a high school diploma, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. This position emphasizes regulatory knowledge and team leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience opening and closing a retail store or restaurant preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching KPI targets.
• Effective multi-tasker with good prioritization.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations is preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Able to obtain and maintain required state licenses; age 21+.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and verify IDs on entry.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and conversion goals.
• Assist customers with questions on forms; update POS records.
• Keep waiting room and sales floor clean and stocked.
• Educate customers on cannabis genetics and effects.
• Process online orders quickly and accurately.
• Be a role model for sales and customer service.
• Handle customer complaints professionally with management support.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on regulations.
• Operate POS and manage cash daily per policy.
• Open/close store, assist with inventory, and process intake.
• Participate in management meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
• Ensure compliance with dispensary policies and schedules.
• Train new staff on duties, POS, and inventory.
• Assist in tip pooling as assigned.
