Verano Holdings in Prospect Heights, IL, is hiring for an Agent in Charge in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. You will greet customers, manage inventory, assist Cannabis Advisors, and ensure compliance with state rules while promoting a welcoming shopping experience.

Responsibilities include cash handling, assisting with online orders, inventory reconciliation, and educating customers on product types and usage. Must be 21+ with retail experience and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Interest in cannabinoids, terpenes and product use.
• Flexible scheduling including some weekends and holidays.
• Ability to use computers, printers and Microsoft Office apps.
• Knowledge of state and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Obtain cannabis product from vault for Cannabis Advisors.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and wellness uses.
• Open and close store as directed by AGM or GM.
• Help customers navigate products and explain usage.
• Verify online orders are complete and accurate before pickup.
• Handle cash transactions and POS duties as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized storefront.
