JARS Cannabis in Okemos, Michigan, is hiring a Retail Representative. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer care, understanding cannabis products, and driving sales in a fast-paced dispensary environment.

We offer mandatory training through JARS University and opportunities for growth in a dynamic, inclusive team. Both full-time and part-time shifts are available, with varied hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a retail, sales, and/or hospitality environment.
• Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications.
• Cannabis industry and/or health industry experience desirable.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each customer, provide product knowledge, and conduct transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize suggestive selling strategies and upsell customers on products and promotions.
• Accept coaching from upper management and participate in training.
• Assist with inventory tasks when needed.
• Open and close duties as needed and follow attendance policies.
• Follow safety and CRA rules and policies.
• Promote loyalty programs and referrals to customers.
• Record transactions accurately in the POS system and manage cash drawer.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.
• Be cross-trained and fill in when short-staffed.
• Adhere to company policies and professional interactions at all times.
